The Martin Fish Lure Co., Seattle, Washington

was founded by Joesph Martin sometime around 1927.

 

Although Joesph passed away in 1943, the company stayed in business for many years, finally closing it's doors for good in the 1980's.

 

The Martin Lure Co. is best known for their salmon plugs; they were without a doubt this countries largest producer.

They also produced other lures, such as flyrod poppers, injured minnow's and jointed pike's. But, the lures we are mainly concerned

about are their saltwater models;

the Atom look-alike, Model 77 and their Jetty Model, shown here.
